Dave Marshall was born in the metropolis of Great Falls, Montana and lived in Seattle for his early formulative years…He moved back to Montana where he played his way through school(drums then choir). He was elected President of the Choirs for Billings Senior High School (or as wife Valerie likes to say “head choir geek”). He was selected to perform with the All Northwest High School Choir in Seattle. Dave particularly liked madrigal (“Fa la la la”) and barbershop music in school and Rush and Led Zeppelin on the stereo.
After a year of college including private lessons with renown drum instructor Jim Campbell, Dave decided to “go pro”….much to the delight of his parentsL. This decision led to several years of touring the B-Clubs of the Northwest… “All of the stories are true” Dave promises. Ready for a change, Dave chose to follow a girl to AZ (closer to the music scene in LA…right?) instead of moving to Seattle where he had friends, family and history!!! The year was 1989. Bands from AZ couldn’t get arrested (and they tried!!!). Seattle EXPLODED….. “As did the engagement…Great choice!!!” laughs Dave. “Well, Arizona has been very good to me; I did meet my soul mate Valerie here and think it’s a great place to raise Allison!!!”.

Dave says he has been privileged to work with amazing players in such Arizona bands as The Guilty, No Stranger, Hellfire, Box of Cherries, The Einsteins, RoughShod, Velcro, Pocket Science and says he’s “jacked” about SuperVibe!!!
